Practical applications
1. When your supplier ships using your carrier account
If your supplier needs to ship using your own carrier account, you can onboard them in Lazr to maintain full traceability and visibility over their transactions.
To enable this, Lazr must first validate your carrier account by authenticating it.
Once completed, an Admin can invite the supplier by sending them an onboarding link.
For security, you will need to allocate specific shipping lanes to that supplier. Supplier users will only see and manage their own orders.
From that point forward, your supplier can log into your Lazr environment and place orders using your carrier accounts.
2. When you ship Collect under your customer’s carrier account
As a shipper on Lazr, you can also process Collect shipments.
This is useful when a customer requires you to ship using their carrier account while still keeping all shipment visibility in one place.
To activate Collect, Lazr must validate the customer’s carrier account by authenticating it.
Once authenticated, you can start shipping Collect immediately.
